Xiaomi has launched their first Waterdrop Notch screen mobile phone Xiaomi Mi Play on 25th of December. It comes with gradient colour body powerful chipset and dual rear cameras. It measures 7.5 mm in thickness and weighs 150 grams. The display features full HD+ resolution with 432 ppi pixel density, sunlight legibility, night screen mode and eye protection mode. It is available in a 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage.
The Xiaomi Mi Play has a 12-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel depth camera in the rear side and 8-megapixel camera in the front for selfies. The smartphone runs MIUI based on Android 8.1 Oreo.The Mi Play is the first smartphone to feature the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, a 12nm octa-core SoC clocked at 2.3GHz. For accelerated performance, the Helio P35 carries support for CPU and GPU dual Turbo technology. The Mi Play powered with a 3,000mAh battery which can be charged through USB Type-C.
It also has other features like fingerprint scanner mounted at the rear side, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
